What We Are

Big Springs Sheltered Workshop Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation established in 1983 in Van Buren, Missouri.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide productive employment opportunities to educable and trainable handicapped individuals and youth over the age of 16 years.

100% of all proceeds are used to operate and maintain the workshop.

What We Do

  • Manufacture & assemble the Royal Minnow Tray

  • Operate a thrift store for our community

  • Make and sell wooden picnic tables, benches, dog houses, and wooden stakes for several different applications.

  • Cut and sell firewood

  • Recycle

    • Cardboard

    • Aluminium cans

    • Hanging file folders

    • Unusable clothing into rags
